Facilitate space and resource bookings with Artifax and Spektrix

Spektrix and Artifax have combined forces to create a nifty way of saving arts organizations time and effort.

If you’re not already using Artifax Event you may be asking: What is ArtifaxEvent?

ArtifaxEvent manages event planning, room hire, resource scheduling, finances, artistic and production schedules, education bookings and tour scheduling. Like Spektrix, they provide a single solution that sits in the cloud with all users using the same version. This means that if you’re using both Spektrix and ArtifaxEvent then you can reap the rewards of cloud-based technology and work on systems that are faster, safer and more efficient than locally hosted solutions.

We have worked closely with the team at Artifax to create an importer which pulls data from Artifax to Spektrix to help make setting up events in Spektrix even easier.

If you are one of the many organisations already using ArtifaxEvent then you’re in for a treat.

So, what will this do for me?

1. Save time Import headline Event information from Artifax straight into Spektrix. Once that's done you just need to add the instance details, but the bulk of the work is done, leaving you free to spend your time on things only a human brain can do.
2. Reduce human error in duplicating events See at a glance in your Spektrix system events that you can import from Artifax when setting up a new Event/Instance.
3. Drive up efficiency Your programming team will be able to spend the bulk of time setting events up in just one system, then can swiftly copy over the fundamental details to Spektrix. After that, your sales team can take over.

For organizations using ArtifaxEvent who would like to reduce the amount of time they spend on setting up events, the ArtifaxEvent Importer is an easy way to import Arrangements and Instances from ArtifaxEvent into Spektrix with just a few clicks.  

This new wizard will allow you to pull Arrangements and Events from Artifax and create them as Events and Instances in Spektrix.

Once you have your new Event or Instance created in Spektrix you can customise it in all the usual ways. This is the ideal tool to get your season programme onto your Spektrix system once it is signed off by your programming team.
